Trivia: This is director Marcus Nispel’s second remake of a classic horror film in a resume of only four features. The first was The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (2003), which was also produced by the company Platinum Dunes.

Goofs: Plot holes: Jason is able to turn the power on and off at the campsite. If the campsite was truly abandoned, all of the utilities (including the electricity) would have been turned off.
