Trivia: When Russell flies past the airship using his balloons and the leaf blower, we briefly see several of Charles Muntz’s dogs playing poker at a card table. This is a tribute to the famous “Dogs Playing Poker” series of paintings by Cassius Marcellus Coolidge.

Goofs: Incorrectly regarded as goofs: When Russell is fixing a tent, one of the support rods snaps back and hits him in the face. A red mark is seen across his left eye. The next time we see him, the mark is gone. However, as it was merely a mark and not a cut or bruise, it probably faded fairly quickly after the initial impact.
